Sproxton
Saint Bartholomew
We have a medieval church in a commanding position outside the village. It is kept unlocked at all times and the
prayer board is well used by the village. Its fabric and churchyard are in good order and there is an interesting and
unusual Viking Cross which was rescued in the 19th century from duty as a footbridge (see www.sproxton.org.uk).

We have a fine light ring of 8 bells and welcome many visiting bands.
