Harston
St Michael and All Angels
The Church of Saint Michael and All Angels is a fine building, which was rebuilt around 1900. It is in sound
condition and together with the church yard well maintained through regular working parties from the Village. The
Church is the only public building within the village, thus all the village meetings tend to take place there.
Harston is a small village of some 28 houses only, with about 70 residents including children.

Harston Tidies Up
What is in the way of becoming a Harston tradition occured a Sunday or two ago on 12th January. It was the
Harston Churchyard Bash which has sorted out the churchyard after the winter. It seems that most of the village
turned out to take part in the fun and the results were that the Churchyard has been restored to its usual tidy
state. I fear that the writer was not there but I am sure that someone will be along in a bit to add some detail.
Until that happens have a look at the photos. (Hover the mouse pointer over a thumbnail for a larger picture.)
