This page, new for Christmas 2013 might provide some food for thought and some nudges towards a closer
relationship with God, the creator of all that is, and Jesus, his son and our saviour.
Including a prayer page was inspired by Rowena’s Advent course which was well attended and very interesting.
I hope that she does something else like it soon.
To start things off there are links to the Divine Office of the Church of England: Morning, Evening and Night
Prayer in the Common Worship version. The More Options button gives access to the traditional Book of
Common Prayer offices: Matins and Evensong.

These are some ideas for its development. Please email me so that I can add to the list. 1. Your favourite prayers. I have started things off with a favourite of mine. Email them to me and I can soon create more pages to accommodate them all. Please have a look at copyright notices if they are published. Don’t be shy to include ones that you have written yourself. 2. Prayer intentions. Is someone close to you ill or in trouble? Don’t forget that this can be read by anyone in the world who has internet access, so confidentiality is important. A first name is usually sufficient but it would be good to add an approximate location if it does not too closely identify the person. (Unless he or she would like to be identified, that is.) 3.
