Litter Picking

Why Bother

Just to state the obvious:  Litter is rubbish.  It’s horrible.  Much litter damages wild life.  It looks really nasty etc., etc.

Who are the gallant people who do this work?

Tina Davison organises it. Please email kleen@live.com

When do we pick this litter?

At the time of writing it was usually on the 1st Saturday and 3rd Wednesday of each month.  Best to check on the Facebook page to find the actual when, where and what do you need to take with you and, of course, the dress code.

Next Litter Pick

With some of the snow the KLEEN litter picks have been more of a challenge so Tina has just sent this around: This Sat (7th April 2018) we will attempt the stretch that we didn't do because of the snow. Meet at the Tavern roundabout at 10am and we will go both ways around the bypass. Tina Anyone wanting to join in the social atmosphere of the litter pick please just go along. We recently had feedback from another group focussing on the River Arrow that it had less in it this year. This was thought to be partly due to our litter picks so well done to everyone.

What do we get up to?
